International Supramolecular System Symposium (ISSS) is an international
symposium with the theme of supramolecular chemistry and other related
disciplines, initiated by State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure
and Materials, Jilin University, Changchun, China. It has become an
important international forum for the discussion of new developments
in supramolecular science. Following the great success of the previous
three symposia, the 4th meeting in the series, ISSS2015, will be held
on 6-9 September, 2015 in Changchun.
The 4th International Supramolecular System Symposium (4th ISSS
2015) will cover all aspects of supramolecular chemistry from interdisciplinary
point of views across disciplines such as chemistry, material sciences,
nanosciences and biology. As dynamic self-assembly will play a key
role in science and technology in the 21st century, the objectives
of this symposium series are in providing an interdisciplinary forum
for scientists engaged in the full spectrum of research, development,
application, and to discuss the current status and recent developments
of these materials with a focus on the supramolecular chemistry.
The 3-day symposium will consist of 13 plenary lectures (of 50
minutes each), given by outstanding scientists whose exceptionally
creative work opens up new frontiers for supramolecular chemistry.
Topics of the plenary lectures will include assemblies and complexities,
supramolecular polymers and materials, molecular devices, noncovalent
interaction patterns, and supramolecular assemblies for biological
applications. In addition, there will be poster session allowing
for the viewing of a large number of poster presentations which
will offer the possibility to students and researchers at their
early-stage career to present their scientific work. We sincerely
welcome you to join us and your participation will be a great contribution
to the success of ISSS 2015.
ISSS 2015 will be held at Conference Center of South Lake Hotel,
Changchun.
